Sanklang Occupation Promotion Group was formed by women and elderly members of the community’s saving group with an objective to increase income for the members and making good use of their free time. Women at this community have sewing skill therefore the group chose to do handmade keychains, keychains covers and purses for coins which are often used as gifts for guests joining various events. The group has been developing more products to meet customers’ needs and acquiring knowledge and skill in business and group management, online marketing and increasing women’s potentials. The Foundation for Labour and Employment Promotion (FLEP) has been providing support to the group.
