Muslim Dress Sewing and Women’s Headscarf Group

Muslim Dress Sewing and Women’s Headscarf Group was formed by villagers who were affected by economic crisis caused by the bubble economy and the violent conflict in Thailand’s Deep South. Majority of the group members are women and single mothers. Starting with embroidery of women’s headscarves, the group later worked on sewing Muslim dresses.

The group currently has 43 members. The works are assigned to group members based on their skills. The group accepts orders for embroidery works which its members can do very neatly, headscarves and Muslim dresses. As well as patterns design based on customers’ concepts for all types of dresses and headscarves.
